About Kimberley

Kimberley Roberts has devoted over three decades to the practice and study of yoga, weaving its wisdom into the heart of her life. Beginning with Satyananda Yoga in her teens and later immersing herself in the teachings of the Bihar School in India, Kimberley’s path has been one of deep commitment, inquiry, and reverence. Her practice has been further shaped by transformative studies with Donna Farhi and Judith Hanson Lasater. More recently, Kimberley completed Yoga for Menopause and Beyond as well as Bone Health for Yoga certified training with Niamh Daly of Yinstinct Yoga.

Kimberley offers a grounded, nurturing approach to yoga—helping students slow down, reconnect with their breath and body, and discover the quiet transformation that unfolds through regular practice. Her classes support deep rest, emotional clarity, and a return to one’s inner rhythm. Inspired by the natural world and the beauty of everyday life, Kimberley invites students into a yoga practice that is both sacred and accessible.

"Kimberley is hands down the best yoga teacher I've been privileged to practise with over the last 15 years. Her energy and teaching is very calm, nurturing and strong." – Arnalee

Praise for Kimberley's Teaching

"Thank you for everything again this year Kimberley. Yoga has been a true gift over this crazy period in our lives and I feel so lucky to have you as my teacher." Tracey Volkmer

"I'm delighted that you're continuing your classes online. Your calmness in leading yoga is the quality I most appreciate. Your transformation from yoga sequence into nidra is seamless. So grateful to keep the connection when everything else is changing." Paul Mayfield

"I cannot thank you enough for your classes. Last week I felt very sore after a fall so I got down on my mat and used whatever I could remember. I remembered your words to 'listen to what your body is telling you". And slowly step by step, a series of exercises unfolded. In doing this I had to let go all my ideas that I was not 'getting the exercises right', that the poses were not proper yoga exercises. I just  kept listening to the body, and focusing on my breathing.  And it made a remarkable difference to the practice and the progress of healing.  And it was very liberating!!" Pauline Aw

"Thank you Kimberley for being a true teacher and helping me to see yoga as a moment-to-moment, never ending opportunity to open my heart and see myself and the world in a whole new light."  Monica Dranger

"Kimberley's classes are very nurturing and settling with space to fully embody the poses and comfortably align with my breath. It feels wonderful. I enjoy the variety within each class and the freedom to honour how I feel. I found the meditation initially challenging, however, I now have my own inspired practice. The yoga nidra CD's are an incredibly useful tool.  I recommend Kimberley's yoga to everyone."  Steph Hanley

"Thank you for your consistently deep, steady, soul nourishing classes."  Craig Robertson

"I miss your classes very much now that I am no longer in Melbourne.  After 10 years of doing yoga, they were the best I have found."  Sally Kingsland

"Since I moved I honestly haven't been able to find another yoga class quite like yours. I found it deeply relaxing and gentle.  Your instructions were really thorough and easy to follow and I really enjoyed how it was different every week and incorporated different techniques such as chanting.  Thank you Kimberley."  Rebecca Garrett
