One to One Yoga
One to one is the traditional way of teaching yoga. One student, one teacher. It is the optimal way to adapt yoga to the individual needs of the student. This individualised attention and guidance allows for the holistic and therapeutic applications of yoga to be fully explored.
Perhaps you wish to start a new practice or deepen your existing one, perhaps you have a specific concern or goal. Taking a one off, or a series of private one to one yoga sessions, is an investment in your personal growth and health.
What happens during a one to one session?
The session will start with a discussion around your needs, abilities and goals. Then together you will design a practice that is specific to you and go through it so you understand each part of your practice. You will also receive a handout to refer to, and access to any follow up support you may need.
How much experience of yoga do I need?
During a one to one class, the teacher designs a practice suitable for your abilities, so whether you are a complete beginner, or have been practicing for many years, you will gain much benefit.
There are many ways in which yoga helps people on a daily basis, or to get through a difficult period. If you are not sure whether it could provide a solution to your problem or help you reach your goal, you can send an email, or call to discuss your needs.
How many sessions will I need?
You may choose to just have one session to get you on your way in your own practice. You may prefer monthly or fortnightly sessions to keep you on track or to adjust your changing needs or maintain guidance. You don't need to come to a class every time you want to do your yoga. The teacher designs a practice for you that you can repeat independently at home as often as you wish.
