Prenatal Yoga Classes
Prenatal Yoga with Kimberley is a nourishing exploration of gentle movement, breathing, deep rest and meditation. The focus of the practice is on embodied awareness and on connecting deeply with yourself and your growing baby.
Attending regular prenatal classes supports you at a physical, psychological and emotional level throughout the various stages of your pregnancy and in preparation for the experience of childbirth.
Yoga can play a key role in enhancing the experience of this precious time. It can help you enjoy your pregnancy more by minimising discomfort, cultivating breath awareness and strengthening your body in preparation for labour. Most importantly yoga and meditation during pregnancy help you to be fully present with your experience in the moment and cultivate trust in your innate body wisdom. This is hugely beneficial in preparation for the experience of childbirth.
Attending classes is also a wonderful way to be part of a community of local pregnant women. Classes are small with a maximum of 12 participants to ensure individual attention.
The classes are suitable for all stages of pregnancy and all levels of yoga experience.
