Workshops : Yoga of Voice Series

Experience the healing sound vibration of your own voice with ancient yoga practices.  Your voice resonates through your body, massaging from the inside out. 

This workshop series is designed to help free your vocal expression, to reconnect with the joy of singing and to attune to the healing power of your voice.  Discover how your voice can be used to help release blocked emotions, reduce bodily tension, create mental calm and as a doorway to the inner stillness of meditation.

No experience necessary (yoga or singing).

Kimberley has a particular passion for exploring the sound vibration of voice through yoga. She believes that we all have the capacity to use our voice as a powerful healing tool and to gain a deeper awareness of ourselves.

Day 1: Yoga of Voice – Opening  
Awaken the voice that is within you through playful voice games, circle songs, toning and world chants. Experience the liberating effects of making sounds and group singing in a safe and supportive space.
 
Day 2: Yoga of Voice - Focusing
Using traditional yogic practices (including mantra chanting, kirtan and Nada Yoga) discover how your voice can be used to help release blocked emotions, reduce bodily tension, create mental calm and as a doorway to the inner stillness of meditation.
