Conscious Relating

Kimberley also co-facilitates Conscious Relating events with Arven of Evolving Man (www.evolvingman.com.au)

These workshops are about:


  • enjoyable opportunities to be more human, open, & real in a safe, facilitated environment,
  • practising expressing more openly & honestly without dumping or projecting,
  • exploring owning our space and being less concerned about what other people think about us,
  • becoming more fluent in the languages of somatics (feeling & instinct).

They are focused towards personal development and building more solid relational skills. And also around fun, connection, sharing, and meeting interesting new people. Come along with the aim of gaining new perspectives & awareness that you can then take into your everyday world.

By applying to attend you are committing to follow workshop guidelines as best you can, to act respectfully towards other participants, and not to be affected by alcohol or drugs at the event.

SPECIAL EVENT - SILENT SPEED DATING
Northcote Fri 30 March 6.30-9.45
This is not the same as the Eye-Gazing Parties popular in the UK and the US, though there are some similarities. In those events people gaze into different partners eyes, then all go to the pub.  This event is Concious Relating & Silent Dating combined. It is a series of different fun and gently challenging non-verbal connection practices (including, but not limited to, eye-gazing). Plus we don't go to a bar afterwards. Rather we intersperse the evening with short opportunities to give each other feedback in the same pairs or in small groups. (As well as a couple of whole-group practices.)
